Young Entrepreneur's Workshop (3rd-5th) - Saturday, June 10, 2023, 10am-Noon

$ 35 $ 50

We’ve taken our intro to leather class and turned it into a fun yet educational workshop ideal for (but not limited to) kiddos in 3rd - 8th grade. In this workshop your Learner will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • Tour the workshop
  • Make a leather item from raw material to finished good
  • Have exposure to and (safely) use a variety of production tools and machinery
  • Get introduced to entrepreneurship and business ownership
  • Complete a business finance exercise*

*Any age can attend either class however the finance exercise and business knowledge discussed at the 10am class will be geared toward 3rd-5th graders and the 2pm class will be geared towards 6th-8th graders.

No previous leather experience necessary. We’ve even seen kiddos with no previous leather interest walk away saying how much fun they had and the surprising things they learned.

After this workshop you can bet that next lemonade stand (or any other business venture) will be on a whole other level. The information learned will be applicable to a variety of young business interest including those with social entrepreneurship interest, non-profit, or service-based business etc.  It’s also simply an opportunity to have a great time in the workshop and walk away with an item made by hand.

Odin and Rachelle have a true passion for sharing knowledge with young entrepreneurs. They’ve guided their own kiddos in developing different products and businesses and enjoy passing that opportunity along to others.

This workshop is for individuals. Contact us for booking a private class for your home school co-op, girl/boy scout troop, after-school club, youth incubator groups etc.
