Position Overview:

Salary/Wage:

  • $10 - $13 an hour
  • Paid bi-weekly

  • Full-time and Part-time, Contractor

Job Location:

  • Coppell, Texas 

Work Environment:

  • Fast paced workshop
  • Not climate controlled
  • May require lifting heavy items

Job Duties: 

  • Cutting leather components
  • Assembly of leather components
  • Hand sewing and machine sewing
  • Edge finishing and burnishing
  • Quality control
  • Packing and fulfilling orders online orders
  • General workshop cleaning and organization
  • Experience in leather craft is a plus, but not required

Job Description:

We're a small leather goods manufacturing studio that supports an online and retail store. We're looking for a production assistant interested in learning leather craft and manufacturing. We make a variety of personal leather goods including belts, wallets, bags, and other small leather items using US tanned top grain leather. The perfect team member will enjoy working with their hands, be a hard worker, with great attention to detail, and can focus on getting tasks complete quickly without sacrificing quality. Experience in leather craft is a plus, but not required. We're willing and happy to teach the right person. 

It's a fast moving environment. We're a growing company so projects and tasks change frequently, but at times can also require focusing on the same task or action for long periods of time (ex. Cutting, assembly and edge finishing). 

This a family oriented and team focused environment. We work hard but have a good time. Respect and communication are key, and teamwork makes the dreamwork.

Attention to detail, and thoroughness, is extremely important. 

Schedule:

  • 4-8 hour shifts
  • Monday to Friday
  • 9-5

Hours may vary based on projects and production schedule. Evening and/or weekend hours may be available on occasion but not required.
