The Small Crossbody Purse Acrylic Template Set includes the five pattern pieces needed to recreate Odin Leather Goods’ small crossbody purse design. The finished bag is compact enough for everyday essentials while giving makers room to customize the leather, hardware, strap, closure, stitching, and decorative details.

Use the templates with a pencil, pen, scratch awl, or other marking tool to transfer each pattern piece onto the leather. The rigid acrylic edges may also be carefully used alongside sharp leather knives and cutting tools to help create clean, consistent components.

This set includes five precision-cut acrylic pattern pieces used to construct the small crossbody purse.

Relevant layout details and construction markings are permanently laser-engraved directly onto the acrylic where applicable. These may include:

This purse can be made from a variety of vegetable-tanned and chrome-tanned leathers.

• The combined thickness at folded, stitched, and hardware-mounted areas
• The type of edge treatment being used
• Whether the bag will be hand stitched or machine sewn

Firmer vegetable-tanned leather can create a more structured bag and is well suited for tooling, stamping, carving, dyeing, and burnished edges.

Softer chrome-tanned leather can produce a more relaxed bag but may require lining, reinforcement, or a modified edge-finishing method.

Unlike paper or cardstock patterns, the rigid acrylic will not easily bend, distort, tear, or wear out through repeated use.

Acrylic Color

Due to changing material availability and supply lines, your template may be made from green-, blue-, or orange-tinted acrylic. Acrylic color is not selectable and may vary from the product photographs.

The color does not affect the template’s dimensions, durability, markings, or functionality.

Important Notes

This listing is for the five-piece acrylic template set only. Leather, lining, thread, hardware, strap components, tools, finished purses, and other supplies are not included.

The acrylic may arrive with a removable protective film on one or both sides. Remove the film before using the templates.

Leather weights, hardware sizes, construction order, and finishing methods should be selected according to the maker’s materials, equipment, experience, and desired finished result.
