The Janice Long Wallet – Hand-Stamped Artisan Edition is a one-of-a-kind interpretation of our signature long wallet, individually made by Odin Leather Goods founder Odin Clack in Lewisville, Texas.

Each wallet begins with premium Hermann Oak vegetable-tanned saddle skirting, then is cut, formed, hand-stamped, stitched, burnished, and finished one at a time. The exterior is worked by hand with detailed artisan stamping, giving every wallet its own rhythm, depth, and character. Some may feature repeating geometric patterns, basket-inspired stamping, floral elements, borders, or other hand-worked details selected for that individual piece.

The influence is rooted in traditional western leathercraft, but the result is not limited to cowboy or cowgirl style. It is refined, tactile, and timeless: a piece for anyone who appreciates honest materials, thoughtful design, and the beauty of something made by hand.

Inside, the Janice Long Wallet is designed for daily use with four card slots, an open-window ID pocket, a full-length pocket, and room to expand naturally as cards, cash, receipts, and other essentials are added. A solid brass snap closure keeps everything secure.

Hermann Oak saddle skirting is the same type of substantial vegetable-tanned leather long valued in saddle making. It will darken, soften, and develop a deep, rich patina with time, sunlight, handling, and everyday use. The marks it collects become part of its story.

The wallet shown in the product photos is an example of the Hand-Stamped Artisan Edition. Each available wallet is made individually and will feature its own stamping pattern, natural leather grain, color variation, finish, and character.

Hand tooling and hand stamping create variation by design. Small differences in impression depth, pattern alignment, leather texture, and finishing are evidence of the maker’s hand, not defects.

Leather Patina Note

This wallet is made from full-grain Hermann Oak vegetable-tanned saddle skirting. Like a well-used saddle, it is intended to change over time.

Sunlight, handling, natural oils, small scratches, and daily use will darken the leather and create a unique patina. The wallet you receive will become more personal, more broken-in, and more beautiful as it is carried.
