The Pancake Style Pocket Knife Sheath gives a traditional folding knife a proper place on your belt.

Built from durable Hermann Oak® saddle skirting leather, this classic pancake-style sheath is made for the kind of pocket knives that have earned a permanent spot in your everyday carry. Its wide, flat profile helps the sheath ride close to the body while keeping your knife secure, accessible, and out of the bottom of your pocket.

Each sheath is cut, formed, stitched, and finished in-house at Odin Leather Goods in Lewisville, Texas. The leather will gradually mold to your knife and develop a richer patina with use, creating a fit and character that becomes uniquely yours over time.

Designed for traditional folding knives such as Case-style Trapper, Stockman, and Sodbuster patterns, along with similarly sized pocket knives.

Fit Guidance

This sheath is intended for popular traditional folding pocket knives, not fixed-blade knives or oversized modern folders.

Because folding knives vary in length, width, thickness, and handle shape, fit will not be identical across every pattern or brand. The leather is intentionally made to break in and form around the knife with normal use.

For the best fit, this sheath is ideal for classic pocket knives in the general size range of a traditional Trapper, Stockman, or Sodbuster.

Leather Character

Natural markings, grain variation, scars, range marks, and subtle color differences are part of real leather and help make each sheath one of a kind. Vegetable-tanned skirting leather will darken, soften, and gain character with age, sunlight, handling, and occasional conditioning.

Care Instructions

Wipe clean with a soft, dry cloth as needed. Condition occasionally with a quality leather conditioner such as Blackrock Leather ’n Rich or Smith’s Leather Balm to help keep the leather supple.

Avoid soaking the sheath or exposing it to prolonged moisture. Allow wet leather to dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat.
